Caratteristiche

Tutti gli esemplari analizzati delle tre specie sono di sesso maschile. L'aracnologo Simon stimò questo genere molto simile a mwdwViciria mweamweqThorell, 1877cite-ref-murphy-murphy-2000-284-1-0[1].

Analizzando la forma del mwfwpedipalpo maschile di mwgaE. gracilis si nota la precisa corrispondenza con quello del genere mwggEpeus mwgwmwhaPeckham & mwhqPeckham, 1886, che venne staccato da Viciria nel 1984cite-ref-murphy-murphy-2000-284-1-1[1].

Distribuzione

Le tre specie oggi note di questo genere sono state rinvenute in mwjaIndonesia e sono tutti mwjqendemismi: uno di mwjgSumatra, uno di mwjwGiava e uno del mwkaBorneocite-ref-salticidae-2-0[2].

Tassonomia

A dicembre 2010, si compone di tre speciecite-ref-salticidae-2-1[2]:

• mwnqErasinus flagellifer mwnwmwoaSimon, 1899cite-ref-3[3] — Sumatra
• mwpgErasinus flavibarbis mwqaSimon, 1902 — Giava
• mwqgErasinus gracilis mwramwrqPeckham & mwrgPeckham, 1907 — Borneo

Specie trasferite

• mwsgErasinus labiatus mwsw(mwtaThorell, 1877); trasferita al genere mwtqPortia mwtgmwtwKarsch, 1878, con la denominazione di Portia labiata cite-ref-4[4], a seguito di un lavoro dell'aracnologo mwvqWanless del 1978cite-ref-salticidae-2-2[2].
